Lucknow Super Giants vs Sunrisers Hyderabad Playing 11 Prediction: Heinrich Klaasen and Marco Jansen of South Africa have also joined the Hyderabad team. In such a situation, the team can make a strong comeback against Lucknow. At the same time, Quinton Dickock has also returned in Lucknow.

Today in the 10th match of IPL 2023, Lucknow Supergiants will face Sunrisers Hyderabad. This match will be played at Lucknow’s home ground Ekana Stadium from 7.30 pm. Lucknow’s team reached here after losing the last match to Chennai Super Kings, while Sunrisers Hyderabad got a crushing defeat by 72 runs against Rajasthan Royals in the last match. Both the teams would like to forget their past defeats and make a fresh start.

Talking about the statistics of both the teams, last season Lucknow and Hyderabad came face to face only once due to being in different groups. On April 4, 2022, Lucknow Supergiants defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 12 runs in the match played at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. However, then the Hyderabad team was different and its captain was Kane Williamson. This season this team has changed a lot.

Markram, Klaasen and Jansen return to Hyderabad
South African explosive batsman Aiden Markram has been made the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad for this season. However, he was not available for the first match against Rajasthan and was with the national team. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took charge of the team against Rajasthan. However, now Markram is back in the team and he will be an important part of the team’s batting unit, which proved to be a flop in the last match. Apart from this, Heinrich Klaasen and Marco Jansen of South Africa have also joined the Hyderabad team. In such a situation, the team can make a strong comeback against Lucknow.

Hyderabad’s top order was completely failing against Rajasthan. Abhishek Sharma, Mayank Agarwal, Rahul Tripathi, Harry Brook, Washington Sundar and Glenn Phillips could not do anything special. Good performance will be expected from all these batsmen in this match. At the same time, Markram can come in the team by replacing Fazalhaq Farooqui. In such a situation, T Natarajan can be given a chance. Heinrich Klaasen can be entrusted with the responsibility of wicketkeeping in place of Glenn Phillips. However, given Phillips’ aggressive batting and ability to turn matches, this is unlikely to happen. Abdul Samad can be sent on the field by replacing Natarajan during Hyderabad’s batting as an impact player.

At the same time, South African explosive batsman and wicketkeeper Quinton Dickock has also returned to the Lucknow team. Dickock has been in fine form and recently scored a blistering century in the T20I against the West Indies. In such a situation, Dickock can be seen opening with captain KL Rahul. At the same time, Marcus Stoinis, who could not do anything amazing with the bat, can be sent to the middle-order and Kyle Myers, who is running in excellent form, can be benched. Myers had scored half-centuries in both the previous matches for Lucknow.

Myers scored 73 runs in 38 balls against Delhi and 53 runs in 22 balls against Chennai. In such a situation, he can be preferred over Stoinis. However, Dickock can also be fed in place of Nicholas Pooran. In this situation both Myers and Stoinis will be able to play. At the same time, Dickock will be Pooran’s like-to-like replacement as wicketkeeper. It will be interesting to see whether the Lucknow team management trims down their bowling options or go with the same team combination. Apart from this, there is little hope of any other change in the team. Lucknow won their first match of this season against Delhi by 50 runs, while against Chennai the team had to face defeat by 12 runs.

Lucknow’s middle order weak
Lucknow’s middle order is weak and so far Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya have not been able to show any wonder with the bat. At the same time, Ayush Badoni has also kept walking after losing wickets on important occasions. He has to bat well. At the same time, in bowling, Ravi Bishnoi bowled brilliantly in the last match, while Mark Wood is also wreaking havoc with his pace. It will be interesting to see whether Jaydev Unadkat is given a chance in place of Yash Thakur in this match. Avesh Khan’s playing is believed to be fixed. There could be a swap between Krishnappa Gautam and Ayush Badoni as an impact player.

Possible playing-11 of both the teams
Lucknow Supergiants: KL Rahul (Captain), Quinton Dickock, Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, Marcus Stoinis/Kyle Myers, Nicholas Pooran, Ayush Badoni, Ravi Bishnoi, Mark Wood, Jaydev Unadkat/Yash Thakur, Avesh Khan.

Sunrisers Hyderabad: Abhishek Sharma, Mayank Agarwal, Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram (c), Harry Brook, Glenn Phillips, Marco Jansen/Adil Rashid, Washington Sundar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, T Natarajan.
